DROID X HELP

DROID X HELP

I'm still excited about my new computer phone and I'm working very diligently to learn how to use all the assets on my computer phone and become proficient in applying them, but I have to admit, at this stage of my training process, I need a lot of Droid X help. I have to admit I'm still a novice at both the computer and my computer/phone. But, I'm determined to achieve some semblance of mastery. In order to do this, I need some resources to avail myself of to help me overcome my ignorance. Even though the Droid X is a new model of phone, there are some resources available to help those of us who are novices as well as the more advanced users.

The first source of Droid X help is the manual for the Droid X. You can find it online. I chose to print a copy of the manual to make it easier and faster to refer to. I also bought another manual, Droid X For Dummies, because I needed more help than the online manual provided. I have only found a couple of manuals written for Droid X how-tos. I wish more Droid X experts would write more manuals for those of us practicing self-help training. Look at the iPhone! There are rows of how-to manuals for the iPhone in all the bookstores!! The Droid X computer phone needs the same amount or more of how-to information available.

Another source of assistance is the Help Center app on your computer phone's Application Tray. When you call it up you are presented with four categories of "helps". The categories are: Guided Tours, Tips and Tricks, User Guide, and FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions). The Guided Tours category gives you a selection of videos to watch to help you use your phone. The Tips and Tricks category offers you suggestions for using your phone in different ways. The User Guide tells you everything about your device. The last category, FAQs, answers frequently asked questions.

If you can't find the assistance you need from the Help Center app, there are three Web sites on the Internet you can go to for help. The first site is the Motorola site, motorola.com. The next site is market.android.com/support. The third site is support.vzw.com/clc. Hopefully, after reading through the manuals for help with your problem, checking through the four categories on your Help Center app for assistance, you can use that knowledge to find the answer to your problem or problems on one or more of the Web sites. Then again, if you still can't find the answer or answers you need, or you don't want to go through all the afore mentioned research, simply dial 611 on your computer/phone, Tech Support, and you will have an abundance of Droid X help.
